Halifax, NC – Halifax County is now accepting applications for the 2023 funding cycle of the Recreation Partners Program. The Halifax County Board of Commissioners has allocated $30,000 to be awarded in grant funds for recreation programs throughout the County. Organizations promoting programs to increase recreation throughout the County are invited to submit an application for funding.

Applications are available from the Halifax County Manager’s Office by calling (252) 583-1131, via the County’s website at halifaxnc.com, or by email request to Christina Wells, Assistant County Manager, atwellsc@halifaxnc.com.

The deadline for receipt of applications is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 17, 2023. Applications will be accepted via email or mail.
