Visiting the Valentines, VA Post Office
The Speight family drove about an hour and a half from Gates County, N.C. to mail Valentine’s Day cards out.Â

Customers wait in line to mail their Valentine’s Day cards out of the Valentines Post Office. The post office, which used to be a country store, is a popular destination for motorcycle and car clubs, especially leading up to Valentine’s Day. Karen Harshbarger, with the Virginia-Carolina Model A Club, said she thought she waited in line about 10 or 15 minutes, but since she was talking most of the time, barely noticed the wait.Â
