July 4, Wise Independence Day Parade & Festival, 10 a.m. parade, 11 a.m.— 2 p.m. festival; parade takes a route down U.S. 1, Norlina, N.C. in the Wise community; the festival follows on the grounds of Wise Baptist Church, 1840 U.S. Hwy. 1, Norlina. 

July 5, First Friday After 5 (Brake Tyme Band), 6 – 10 p.m., outdoor stage, downtown Littleton, N.C.  Free outdoor live music, food will be served starting at 5 p.m., bring your own chair. 

July 6, Littleton’s Annual Patriotic Parade, 10 a.m., 411 Mosby Ave., Littleton, N.C. The parade begins at Lakeland Theatre and continues to Littleton Fire Department. For more information call 252-586-6828.

July 6, Lake Gaston Boat Parade, 10:30 a.m., celebrating Independence Day; leaving from Americamps and ending at Sixpound Creek.

July 6, Longbridge Vol. Fire Dept. presents fireworks, starts at dusk near Eaton’s Ferry Bridge, Littleton, N.C. Watch the fireworks from boat, bridge or along the shoreline.
